hardy mirza - the asian idol

On Sunday, 16th December 2007, the winner of the First Asian Idol was announced. The SMS voters vote Hardy Mirza, a young male singer from Singapore.

YES, you heard it right! from our very own country SINGAPORE!

and yes. you can faint now.

Not even one of the judge predicted Hardy to be the winner, our very own asian idol. I bet that's what most of us would have thought so too. i bet we would be thinking, singaporean vs pple from other countries... sure no chance. BUT hardy proved us alllllll wrong man!

Most of the judges predicted that the most two strong candidate of winner are Mike from Indonesia and Jaclyn from Malaysia. But, things goes different, a lot number of SMS agreed to choose our very own HARDY to be the First Asian Idol.

Each voter in every country has to vote for 2 Idols within each SMS.The voter cannot vote for the same Idol twice in the same SMS.
