university admissions

its not the end of the world when you get rejected from all 3 local universities.

for the second time.

there's always hope for people like me.

u always can look up the private schools for a place to go.

some of the universites offer good degrees from really good places.

welll..... if u are undecided what would suit you (like me for the past 1 yr), you can try things like this:

-googling all the different schools

-read the courses available

-think what job u want to work as and find what u can study

- think where you are right now and what u want to do in life

- ask a teacher/ talk to course cordinators/counselors/talk to parents/friends

that really totally crushed my spirit.

low and behold the secrets to appealing into a local university.

its very easy!

follow this 5 steps:

1) BE FRANK (obviously you have to, your only entitled with 50 words!!!!!)

2) BE SMART (choose the right words!)

3) BE SELLABLE (try to market yourself and be a good reason to be accepted! and NO! saying your pretty and tall doesn't count.)

4) BE ORIGINAL (try to think out of the box, definitely it would be an advantage compared to the common ones!)

5) BE RESOURCEFUL (search online or ask current undergrads for help!)


having said that i hope MSE in NTU will give me a seat.
